March - the lows and highs

Well, home from Egypt and we fell back to earth with a huge bump. Matt picked up a dose of Pharaohs Revenge. He had to take the first week of the month off work, so it kinda took the gloss off the holiday for him.

Big news for the month was Kathy handing in her resignation. She just had enough of her staff saying what they will and won't do. She was much happier as a result. She didn't know just how unhappy she was.

Early March was bathed in early sunshine, then the weather resorted to its normal spring weather – wet and cold. Of course.

March means the return of 6 Nations rugby. Matt watched the games at the pub, Kathy watched them at home. We went to the Italy game after Matt bought some tickets from a guy at the pub. It could have been really dodgy, but it turns out they were great seats. Last time we will be going to a game at the Stadium.

Ah, match day crowds...

Ah, rugby scrums....

Millennium Stadium crowd

We got seriously stuck in to planning for Pat and Harry's visit next month, part of which included a skype call with them and our lovely nephews! That was such a great call – especially as we were both getting over colds. It made us feel so much better.

Towards the end of the month we had lunch with the Barry Bergers and Val, before they went to Australia, which was fun and boozy as always. Matt also had trips to London and Southampton. We had Lewis and Sarah's farewell party, and WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! We got AU$55,000 more than we expected, and it's good to get that monkey off our back. Once our claim cheque from the insurance company clears we can cancel that, then that is that. What a great way to end the month.
